The Transformative Power of Gratitude and Trust: Episode 1

The Day My Financial Anxiety Changed

I stand before a large mirror, adjusting my tie lightly.

For a moment, my eyes meet my own reflection. Something feels different from the person I was a year ago.

No, rather than saying “something has changed,” perhaps it’s more accurate to say, “I’ve finally caught up with myself.”

That thought sends a warm sensation spreading deep within my chest.

Looking back, this past year has brought significant changes to my world.

I’ve become more aware of small signs and shifts in my emotions. A year ago, I might have overlooked them or turned away. Yet now, those once insignificant moments feel like clear indicators of a greater flow.

There was a time when I lived consumed by financial anxieties and strained relationships, constantly chasing something beyond my reach. But now, things are different.

By embracing the energy of circulation that Okane-san taught me, I feel a newfound sense of fulfillment. I’ve learned to move with the natural rhythm of life rather than resisting it. And as I do, changes have begun to unfold naturally.

“I’m not here to make you anxious. I’m here to teach you something important through your anxieties.

Anxiety is a signpost, guiding you toward what you truly desire and cherish.

I’m always with you. But for you to notice me, you must learn to listen to your own heart.”

This was the first message I received from Okane-san.

Back then, I lacked the energy to face my anxieties. I simply avoided them. But anxiety doesn’t disappear—it follows you wherever you go, lingering no matter what you do. I carried that heavy feeling with me, merely drifting through each day.

Through my exchanges with Okane-san, I gradually realized that anxiety wasn’t an enemy but rather a signal—something calling my attention.

Instead of avoiding it, I started accepting it, trying to understand the message it carried. And as I did, my world slowly began to change.

Then, something remarkable happened.

Just as Okane-san had said, I started to experience money flowing to me, carried by the energy of gratitude. The way money moved around me was shifting.

At first, I was skeptical. After all, energy circulation isn’t something you can see—it felt like a concept out of a spiritual book.

If energy were visible, like colorful streams floating in the air, maybe I would have believed it more easily. But as real changes unfolded before my eyes, I had no choice but to believe.

It felt as though I was playing a game designed by Okane-san, moving in sync with a grander story.

Yet, unlike before, my heart felt light. More than anything, I felt alive.

Of course, anxiety didn’t vanish completely. Whenever I embarked on something new, uncertainty followed. But now, I had learned to navigate it.

The other day, something unusual happened.

A client’s payment came through, but the amount was far less than expected.

The old me would have panicked, feeling frustration and unease creeping in.

But this time was different.

“Could this be some kind of sign?”

Instead of reacting emotionally, I calmly checked the details and reached out to the client.

It turned out to be a simple clerical error. As a result, they corrected it by sending a two-month lump sum payment—the largest transaction I had ever processed.

Initially, a wave of anxiety had crept in. But then, I recalled what Okane-san had said about “expanding my capacity for money.”

By shifting my perspective, I found myself feeling reassured rather than fearful.

From that moment, I began visualizing the flow of money more clearly.

I imagined it carrying the energy of gratitude, circulating through me, and returning in a new form.

And sure enough, shortly after, I received an apology email from the client—along with an unexpected new job opportunity.

“Ah, so this is what Okane-san meant by energy circulation.”

The realization settled deep within me.

Right before my eyes, Okane-san’s teachings were taking tangible form. And these kinds of experiences were becoming more frequent.

Something else had changed as well—my attitude toward spending money.

Previously, every time I paid for something, I felt a sense of loss.

“My money is disappearing again.”

“I’m afraid of running out.”

These thoughts had become deeply ingrained, running on an unconscious loop.

But now, it was different.

Whenever I spent money, I silently said, “Thank you.”

“This payment will create a new flow of energy.”

“Rather than avoiding anxiety, embrace it. Circulate money with gratitude.”

What once seemed like mere words now carried undeniable truth, deeply embedded in my experience.

Perhaps the world is much simpler than I had imagined.

Energy flows. Gratitude circulates. And from it, new abundance is born.

Before I knew it, this way of being had become my new normal.

Ever since that first message from Okane-san, my perspective on the world has been shifting—bit by bit.
